Appointment Cancellations
This office is a boutique private dental office and we value your time and schedule. We make it a priority for you to be seen in a timely manner and have enough time allotted to your needs. We need to know as soon as possible if you will be unable to keep the time that has been reserved for you or your child with our doctors. Missed appointments cause a disruption in the day with both staff and other patients, who may need to be seen for an emergency visit.
We understand that everyone has important obligations throughout the day and that your time is very valuable. Our goal is to allow you to be seen on time for your appointment, do all necessary scheduled treatments and to minimize interruptions to your busy schedule. As of January 1st 2017, there will be $75 fee for every appointment missed if cancelled less than 48 business hours in advance. To help remind our valued patients of upcoming appointments, we will continue to confirm appointments 48 hours prior and will waive your first appointment missed fee. Our office utilizes a confirmation service which sends out e-mails or text messages up to two weeks prior. If you are not receiving these reminders and are an existing patient, please provide the front staff with your e-mail address or mobile number.
If you are more than 15 min late for your appointment and we are unable to complete the planned treatment for you in the remaining time before the next patients scheduled appointment we will need to reschedule your appointment.
We understand emergencies do occur and we do not wish to penalize patients for unavoidable situations. We record all appointments, cancellations and no-shows and discourage repeated abuse of our scheduling policy, as this is unfair to our conscientious patients.
